How much does a session cost?
A 50 minute session is $120. An 80 minute session is $160.
Can I use insurance to cover the cost?
If you have mental health benefits through your health insurance, you may be reimbursed for all or part of the fee. If you do not have mental health coverage or your coverage is poor, I offer a sliding scale option as well. Check with your insurance carrier for mental health coverage. I will provide you with an insurance receipt at each session for you to send in to your insurance company for reimbursement.

What is Somatic Counseling Psychotherapy/Body Psychotherapy?
Somatic Counseling Psychotherapy works with body, mind, and spirit to create a more holistic experience of issues, challenges, and potential coping skills and resources.
It is a strength-based approach to psychotherapy that supports the client in accessing resources in order to develop action-oriented skills for regulating emotions and behaviors (original source of definition unknown).
What is the systemic constellation method?
This method makes issues and challenges three dimensional and easier to work with in a more experiential and body-based way. It reveals painful patterns of suffering and lets the client to look at issues in a different way that allows for big shifts right away. It is a powerful approach that empowers the client showing them new possibilities of relating to themselves and others and feel much more fulfilled.
What is Animal Assisted Therapy?
A goal-directed intervention [for humans aided by animals and] directed and/or delivered by a health/human service professional with specialized expertise, and within the scope of practice of his/her [xyr] profession. How many sessions does therapy take?
Depending on your goals it can take from 2 sessions to a couple of months. Based on your own unique needs and wants, you could come on a weekly or bi-weekly basis covering many issues, or come as you need. Some people want to tackle many issues to create big change in their lives. Others come on a crisis basis or at their own pace tackling topics/issues giving themselves breaks in between. This can look different for each person. We will find what works for you and adjust as you need.
